ARRIVAL, an electric automotive and tech company, are one of the UK’s most anticipated Transport as a Service startups. I joined at the brand’s conception, working primarily alongside the head of UX and marketing director to nurture and build the foundations for a tone of voice and guidelines on how to best utilise ARRIVAL's versatile brand.
(1), brand guidelines, created in collaboration with creative agency ThatThing.
(1), Freedom
(2), Precision
(3), Automation
(4), Collaboration
To cap off the branding exercise, I created and helped strategise a Sneak Peek into Arrival’s flagship vehicle - the T4 (or van). Although in its infancy, this was designed to give enthusiasts and interested parties a glance into the future - as well as giving them a chance to sign up and join the movement into electric transportation.
(2), the ARRIVAL 1.0 website, a simple one-pager to gauge investor interest.
Further into my time at ARRIVAL, I worked to build and direct an internal video series to champion the work engineers, product, UX and other teams were doing to bring ARRIVAL’s vision to life.
Lastly - I pushed the brand in new directions when we partnered with local governments to help empower Arrival’s AI and machine learning, allowing the van to drive itself around towns and villages. I branded the sister company, “RoboPilot”, and designed liveries for the van to distinguish it from Arrival’s normal fleet.
